Senior Technical Project Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid work arrangement

Base salary: $163,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex cross-functional software projects.
• Manage production releases, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and cross-team accountability.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement AI agents, LLMs, low-code/no-code tools, and other automation to reduce manual work.
• Maintain FDA audit readiness across Design Controls, Software Validation, and QMSR requirements.
• Manage audit follow-ups and medical-grade certification processes.
• Administer controlled Jira spaces, maintain requirements-to-verification traceability aligned with IEC 62304, and coach product development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, or Release Manager in a software development organization.
• Experience planning complex software development projects and proactively managing dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Experience using AI agents, LLMs, and low-code/no-code tools to automate workflows and internal tooling.
• Experience managing audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, plus advanced Jira administration skills including workflow customization and permission management.
• Strong communication, organization, strategic problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
