Data Engineer (AI)

hirify.global builds an open-access AI cloud with a GPU marketplace and AI inference services that use distributed computing resources.

What you will do

• Build hirify.global's data infrastructure, data warehouse, ingestion pipelines, and operational tooling from 0 to 1.
• Own the data warehouse and pipelines that aggregate data from multiple sources.
• Design data models for new business lines, including spot computing and inference.
• Partner with data analysts and engineering to provide reliable, fast, and cost-efficient data for BI and reporting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune production data systems as data volume and usage grow.
• Establish testing, documentation, governance, and processes that maintain data reliability.

Requirements

• Experience independently building and maintaining a data warehouse with industry-standard tooling.
• Experience designing data models for new products and business lines.
• Strong knowledge of Postgres, including partitioning, data archival, and large-dataset migration.
• Experience with large datasets, production-system support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data reliability practices, DBA responsibilities, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS and data lakes.
• Background in GPU infrastructure, cloud computing, or AI infrastructure.
• Experience at an early-stage, high-growth technical company.
