Software Engineer (.NET/React)

Location: Hybrid, contractually aligned to the Milton Keynes office in the United Kingdom; office attendance is expected when required, averaging once per month.

Salary: £38,784–£46,049 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Build scalable, secure, user-centred applications and integrate software components and REST APIs.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, cloud delivery, DevOps, and infrastructure practices.
• Support application monitoring, incident management, on-call activities, and service reliability improvements.
• Contribute to data modelling, database design, requirements analysis, feasibility assessments, and technical documentation.
• Participate in root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, capacity planning, and non-functional testing.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and software design and development.
• Experience with functional and non-functional testing, information security, and quality assurance.
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience supporting applications and systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining service stability.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud-native development, DevOps, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and willingness to learn technologies across the listed stack.
