Image Sensor Test and Development Engineer (CMOS/CCD)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite role

Base pay: $141,300–$207,233 annually

What you will do

• Test and characterize sophisticated image sensors and camera systems.
• Generate sensor test requirements and develop engineering tests using Matlab, Python, LabVIEW, and Excel.
• Integrate and modify sensor test fixtures.
• Verify sensor performance and reliability and integrate the camera subsystem.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners and provide technical leadership on assigned projects.

Requirements

• Doctorate with 3 years of related experience, master’s degree with 6 years, or bachelor’s degree with 8 years.
• Experience testing high-bandwidth, low-noise CMOS or CCD sensors.
• Knowledge of CMOS/CCD sensor manufacturing, packaging, and testing processes.
• Camera system integration experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project and vendor management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience taking leading-generation CMOS or CCD sensors from design through production and release.
• A demonstrated record of innovation and implementation in sensor development.
