Commercial Counsel (AdTech)

Location: New York City, NY; hybrid schedule with remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office work Tuesday through Thursday

Base salary: $185,000–$215,000 annually in New York, plus performance-based bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead and support contract negotiations with strategic partners on complex commercial and technology matters.
• Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on advertising technology, platform vendor, data, and other technology agreements.
• Provide legal support to internal business clients and help commercialize products and services.
• Support privacy, data, and security initiatives connected to technology and commercial agreements.
• Improve contracting processes and management, including developing internal policies.
• Support special projects involving company policies and marketing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant transactional practice in a top law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Experience in technology, digital advertising, data privacy, and/or intellectual property.
• Strong business judgment, legal risk assessment, strategic thinking, and practical advice under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptability, and a business-oriented approach to problem solving.
• License to practice law in California or New York, as a member of the bar or Registered In-House Counsel.
