Junior/Middle C++ Engineer (Networking) (Cybersecurity)

Develop software and cybersecurity solutions for a global technology client focused on networking, cloud infrastructure, and digital threat protection.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance C++ services for processing, transforming, and streaming security, intrusion, connection, and file-related events.
• Design event-processing pipelines and data-correlation engines for security platform components.
• Implement rule evaluation, threat matching, remediation actions, and system notifications.
• Build and maintain integrations with syslog, server-sent events, message queues, telemetry systems, and messaging infrastructure.
• Investigate production issues involving performance, reliability, and data consistency.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and engineering-process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and at least 2 years of commercial development experience.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, concurrency control, and synchronization.
• Practical experience developing applications and services for Linux-based environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, distributed systems, inter-process communication, event-driven architectures, message brokers, or streaming pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Upper-intermediate English level required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional distributed-systems tools or frameworks.
