Lead Cloud Onboarding Architect

Location: Remote in the United States, including Illinois and the AMER region

Salary: $179,982–$224,978 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead Guided Setup for complex and strategically important enterprise accounts across data warehouse and repository configuration, SSO, RBAC/SCIM, and user access.
• Act as the senior escalation point for PrivateLink, OAuth, SSO, networking, identity, and architecture challenges.
• Work with customer technical stakeholders to assess environments, identify risks, and guide successful configurations.
• Mentor Cloud Onboarding Architects and improve troubleshooting, platform expertise, and customer-facing practices.
• Own and improve setup checklists, playbooks, kickoff materials, troubleshooting guidance, documentation, and repeatable processes.
• Represent setup needs across Engineering, Product, Design, Training, and Customer Solutions Engineering.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of hands-on dbt experience as an account administrator and data practitioner.
• Previous experience as a Cloud Onboarding Architect, Implementation Consultant, or in a directly equivalent role.
• Administrator-level experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Redshift; GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps; and Okta, Entra ID or Google identity providers.
• Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, data warehouse administration, repository configuration, and identity management.
• Track record of mentoring or coaching less experienced teammates.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer judgment, and ability to manage ambiguous cross-functional problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with PrivateLink or other secure connectivity patterns.
• Experience creating internal enablement content or documentation.
• Experience bridging pre-sales, post-sales, Engineering, and Product.
• Familiarity with Rocketlane or similar onboarding delivery tools.
• dbt Architect certification.
