Engineering Manager, Dedicated Infrastructure

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Base salary: $152,800–$259,200 USD annually for United States residents

What you will do

• Lead the Dedicated Infrastructure team and partner with the Product Manager to set priorities and deliver with speed and quality.
• Maintain at least 99.9% availability, strengthen security, and automate operations across multiple tenants.
• Guide architecture decisions, develop self-service platforms, and enable feature implementers to manage services in production.
• Lead incident management, resolution, escalation, and documentation of operational best practices.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop accountable, high-performing team members.
• Use proofs of concept, AI-assisted approaches, data, and risk analysis to improve productivity and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience building and owning large-scale distributed services and guiding technical strategy.
• Experience with fleet management, Terraform, AWS, and automated provisioning across 20 or more clusters.
• Experience operating services with 99.99% availability SLOs and applying practices that sustain them.
• Experience using AI tools to improve team productivity.
• Experience managing accountable, high-performing teams, including performance management and difficult personnel decisions.
• Experience leading complex projects and distributed remote teams without relying on a dedicated Technical Program Manager.
