Sr Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Jefferson City, Tennessee, United States; the role combines office work with physical activity in field and production environments.

Salary: $82,900–$134,300 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead for a manufacturing line and drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and production readiness.
• Lead new product integration, engineering changes, and manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop complex engineering calculations, investigations, plans, designs, and reports.
• Manage N/C programs and select tooling, fixtures, equipment, and assembly solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Advance manufacturing through automation, autonomous mobile robots, smart tools, connected manufacturing systems, and related technologies.
• Partner with Operations, Production, Engineering, and cross-functional teams while mentoring Manufacturing Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing engineering activities for complex assembly or production lines.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, process optimization, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and improving safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and ergonomics.
• Ability to work across office and production environments, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise.

Nice to have

• Experience with New Product Development, advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, AMRs, smart tools, or connected manufacturing systems.
• Experience identifying and implementing manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and processes.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship of Manufacturing Engineers.
