Operations Coordinator

Location: Geismar, Louisiana, United States; onsite work required in corporate office and field environments

What you will do

• Administer, track, report, and audit the Safety-Quality-Environmental Implementation Program.
• Review incidents, conduct SCAT analysis, prepare investigation reports, and track corrective actions.
• Lead Management of Change (MOC) and HAZOP processes, including implementation and documentation.
• Manage Responsible Care, Risk Management Plan, customer, internal, and operational compliance audits.
• Maintain operational management systems, procedures, hazard analyses, equipment checklists, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response drills, OPSINFO activities, regulatory compliance, and corrective action follow-up.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of experience with MOC, HAZOP, incident investigation, environmental and safety compliance, RMP, audits, or related industrial processes.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC credential issued by TSA.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in a chemical or petroleum industrial or marine terminal environment.
