Specialist Electrical Engineer (Oil & Gas): Reviewing and assuring electrical engineering designs and deliverables for a major ADNOC offshore project with an accent on power distribution, electrical equipment, engineering standards, and EPC contractor coordination. Focus on resolving complex electrical issues, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, and supporting construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; based at the client’s office or contractor’s office.

What you will do
- Provide specialist technical expertise and engineering assurance for electrical systems on a major ADNOC Offshore project.
- Review and monitor EPC contractor electrical engineering activities, designs, calculations, specifications, and deliverables.
- Verify compliance with applicable ADNOC requirements, project specifications, electrical codes, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate electrical equipment and packages, resolve technical queries, and coordinate interfaces with engineering, operations, construction, and site teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and support the resolution of complex electrical engineering issues.
- Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Extensive electrical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector, including offshore facilities and EPC/PMC project environments.
- Experience reviewing EPC contractor electrical designs and engineering deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of offshore electrical systems, installation practices, engineering interfaces, relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience across detailed engineering and procurement, construction, and commissioning interfaces.
- Excellent multidisciplinary coordination, technical problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

- Previous ADNOC or ADNOC Offshore project experience.
