Manufacturing Quality Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; full-time, onsite manufacturing role. hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on overall skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System, including procedures, inspection standards, control plans, FMEAs, metrics, and Management of Change governance.
• Manage internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audit programs while ensuring compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead complex quality investigations, customer complaints, 8D corrective actions, CAPAs, failure analysis, and recurring-defect reduction initiatives.
• Oversee metrology programs, Gauge R&R studies, calibration compliance, and stability reviews for critical inspection equipment.
• Provide quality leadership for new product introductions, qualifications, process transfers, and validation programs while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management, and customers.
• Lead, coach, and develop quality engineers and technicians while aligning quality priorities with business objectives and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in semiconductor or precision materials manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor parts or component manufacturing, complex product launches, manufacturing ramp-up, and cleanroom requirements.
• Strong background in SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, structured problem-solving, statistical analysis, and process control.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
