Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States; up to 25% local/domestic travel required. MKS generally hires candidates residing in states where it is registered to do business.

Salary: $71,425–$95,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Execute supplier quality activities for purchased products, including supplier approval, product qualification, FAI, nonconformance management, corrective actions, and supplier surveillance.
• Act as the liaison between engineering teams and suppliers to ensure purchased products meet MKS specifications.
• Lead supplier quality activities for assigned business units and serve as the primary point of contact for supplier quality matters.
• Manage supplier corrective actions and drive key process improvements.
• Collaborate with category management, procurement, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience using FMEA, SPC, GR&R, CAPA/RCA, process validation, and auditing.
• Ability to work on-site in Broomfield, Colorado, with up to 25% local/domestic travel.

Nice to have

• Direct manufacturing experience with mechanical, electrical, or PCBA products.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• ISO lead auditor certification, ASQ CQA, or equivalent.
