PMO Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the site transformation agenda as a member of the Extended Leadership Team.
• Govern a portfolio covering technology transfers, new product introductions, product and process changes, capital projects, and digital initiatives.
• Manage portfolio prioritisation, resource alignment, project health, budgets, benefits realisation, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Chair portfolio review meetings and governance forums while maintaining project lifecycle and stage-gate standards.
• Manage the iRTM roadmap and integrate operational readiness across design, construction, commissioning, qualification, training, staffing, systems, maintenance, quality, and supply requirements.
• Coach Project Managers and partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory, EHS, Finance, and global functions to remove delivery barriers.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is expected.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading portfolio management functions and converting strategy into executable programs.
• Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, regulatory expectations, technical transfer, product lifecycle management, operational readiness, and manufacturing performance systems.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, executive communication, governance, influencing, decision-making, change leadership, and people development capabilities.
