Operational Accounting Associate III

What you will do

• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and deposit accounts accurately and on schedule.
• Identify out-of-balance conditions, unusual items, aged items, and system outages.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports for Finance, Audit, and SOX reporting.
• Research and resolve accounting issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, business partners, and investors to resolve inquiries.
• Update procedures, support new business initiatives, and mentor less experienced staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of accounting reconciliation, reporting, and problem resolution.
• Ability to follow corporate risk, compliance, operational risk, and internal control standards.
• Ability to support GAAP-compliant financial statements and audit requirements.
