What you will do

• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, process documents, and SOX documentation.
• Prepare periodic, month-end, and quarter-end journal entries.
• Execute month-end close activities and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with financial reporting schedules under U.S. GAAP for SEC and federal regulatory filings.
• Prepare audit support for independent public accountants, federal regulators, and internal auditors.
• Improve reporting efficiency by reducing manual processes and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting rules and best practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems under time constraints.
• Ability to produce accurate, professional work.
• Ability to work at the San Diego headquarters.
