Summer 2027 Corporate Tax Intern (June-August)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid schedule with 2 remote days and 3 on-site days

Hourly pay rate: $21.00–$25.00

hirify.global is an investment management firm serving individuals and institutions through mutual funds and other investment products.

What you will do

• Support federal and state tax compliance activities for MFS and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare capital gain and loss analyses, hedge analyses, and components of federal income tax returns.
• Prepare foreign financial information reports and state income, franchise, and excise tax returns or quarterly estimates.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, roll forward tax accounts, and identify book-to-tax differences.
• Conduct tax research and support ad hoc tax-related projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, or finance is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong business writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work positively with Corporate Finance, other departments, and external fund auditors.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Open to rising seniors graduating in 2028.

• Experience with PeopleSoft.
