New Product Manufacturing Engineer III (Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $110,500.00–$152,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Commercialize new products and features from initial design through volume manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate the release of new products and product improvements.
• Create, release, approve, and implement engineering change orders, SMBOM releases, BOM requests, and NPI/CIP documentation.
• Create and maintain product models and master layouts in UG/NX, and access design data through Teamcenter.
• Support new product builds, identify root causes of assembly and test issues, and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Coordinate with design engineering, operations, product management, manufacturing teams, materials, and suppliers to transition products into volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing or engineering experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, product structure, bills of materials, product safety, material handling, and root cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of UG-NX, Teamcenter, SAP BOM, and engineering change orders.
• Knowledge of DFx, value engineering, manufacturability analysis, product development, specification waivers, and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, customer orientation, teamwork, quality, and change-management skills.
