Fabrication Mechanic (Mold Prep & Trim)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite first- or second-shift position.

What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment.
• Use hand tools to grind, cut, and sand walls to specified limits.
• Prepare parts with chemicals such as Chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for subsequent processing.
• Prepare parts for curing in ovens before molding operations.
• Maintain dependable attendance and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections against blueprints, customer instructions, and operating procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must work onsite in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States.
