Senior Data Modeler (Snowflake)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; remote work in a cross-functional environment.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable physical data models in Snowflake.
• Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake schemas, tables, and views.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
• Align data models and metadata with governance standards and tools such as Collibra.
• Document modeling and transformation logic for traceability and compliance.
• Support performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake physical data modeling and SQL.
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT principles, and Data Vault 2.0.
• Experience with metadata and data governance platforms, ideally Collibra.
• Strong understanding of star schemas, normalization, and data modeling best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment with strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3.
• Experience with pharmaceutical or life sciences data and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with data quality tools such as Ataccama.
