What you will do

• Contact consumer borrowers with delinquent loans through inbound and outbound manual and AutoDial calls.
• Assess repayment ability and arrange payment plans, loan workouts, and other assistance options.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments through warm transfers and escalate complex issues to supervisors.
• Review high-risk loans, financial statements, and loan-opening documents to assess recovery likelihood.
• Conduct skip-tracing, maintain accurate account records, and process account corrections through resolution.
• Follow applicable state and federal compliance, operational risk, audit, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and contribute as a team member.
• Ability to work onsite in Getzville, New York.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Collections experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
