C# Software Engineer (Messaging Platform): Building and evolving high-performance, globally distributed messaging services with an accent on RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and scalable cloud infrastructure. Focus on optimizing throughput, designing asynchronous and multi-threaded systems, and ensuring reliability through testing and production-grade engineering practices.
Location: Cebu, Philippines; the engineering team is based in Singapore.

What you will do
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend microservices for a core messaging platform.
- Expand and evolve high-throughput, scalable, globally distributed services.
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and service quality.
- Develop unit tests and participate in integration test design.
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders on requirements and technical alignment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert knowledge of .NET Core and C#.
- Strong understanding of RESTful web services, microservices architecture, multi-threaded development, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Written and verbal fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with highly loaded, mission-critical distributed systems in production.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, or another service mesh.
- Experience in communications or messaging domains.
- Experience using AI tools, LLM APIs, or designing AI agents.
