Location: Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with a regular presence in the DMV market; hybrid work based around offices in Tysons, Virginia, and Potomac, Maryland. Travel is required across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, with periodic national travel and occasional travel to Puerto Rico and Lexington.
Base salary: $140,000–$175,000 annually, plus a performance bonus tied to business development outcomes.

What you will do
- Own bid/no-bid recommendations, pricing posture, win themes, teaming structures, and pursuit decisions for the geospatial division.
- Originate opportunities, build executive-level client relationships, convert qualified pipeline into awards, and grow revenue from new and existing accounts.
- Develop teaming partnerships, prime relationships, contract vehicles, market segments, and new geographic opportunities.
- Represent the firm at conferences, associations, client forums, presentations, and published industry work.
- Provide technical authority on scope, accuracy, control, registration, methodologies, and deliverable standards as a licensed professional.
- Support expansion into GIS and geospatial analytics while aligning commercial commitments with delivery capabilities.
Requirements
- Professional Land Surveyor licensure, or Professional Engineer licensure with survey practice, in at least one Mid-Atlantic jurisdiction.
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, geography, architecture, construction management, or a related technical field.
- Working command of survey, geomatics, and reality capture methods, including accuracy, control, registration, and deliverable standards.
- Demonstrated client relationship development, business development, pursuit origination, and public representation experience.
- Eligibility to obtain and hold a United States government security clearance.
- Regular presence in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and willingness to travel across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Nice to have
- Virginia licensure or eligibility to obtain it by comity.
- Federal, state, local, or Department of Transportation contracting experience.
- BIM and VDC experience with Scan-to-BIM, Revit, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- GIS and geospatial analytics experience, including the Esri platform.
- Experience with Leica, Trimble, FARO, or NavVis platforms; Spanish capability; or an active security clearance.
