Business Analyst / Project Manager with Fluent German

Location: Remote; work from any convenient location. The project runs entirely in German, with day-to-day communication with a client based in Germany.

What you will do

• Drive requirements elicitation with the client, identify gaps, propose solutions, and clarify ambiguities.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, tasks, and other actionable tickets.
• Build and prioritize the product backlog according to business goals and project constraints.
• Make product decisions and evaluate stakeholder input independently as a product owner.
• Coordinate the development team, resolve blockers, and support a positive, productive working environment.

Requirements

• Fluent German at C1 level is essential; the project operates entirely in German.
• At least 5 years of hands-on commercial experience as a business analyst, project manager, or product owner.
• Experience delivering technically complex, large-scale projects.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including independent product decision-making.
• Experience gathering requirements, managing backlogs, prioritizing scope, and negotiating with stakeholders.
• English at B2 level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance, insurance, or lending.
• Technical background.
