Head of Compliance, Risk & Assurance

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Compliance team and oversee day-to-day Group compliance operations.
• Manage contractor compliance processes, regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, controls and escalations.
• Own and enhance the Group Risk Assurance Framework, risk register, risk reviews and remediation plans.
• Lead assurance reviews, audit relationships and accreditation programmes, including ISO accreditations.
• Maintain oversight of health and safety policies, controls, incident management and corrective actions.
• Oversee insurance governance and claims, mandatory training compliance, reporting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience leading compliance, regulatory or risk-focused operational teams.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in recruitment, workforce solutions, professional services or a similar environment.
• Experience managing operational controls, audits and assurance activities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive performance, quality and continuous improvement through a proactive and collaborative approach.
