Associate Director – Alternative Coverage Team - 12 Month FTC (Fintech)

Location: London, UK. Hybrid working requires at least three days per week or 60% of working time at an office site.

What you will do

• Build and develop relationships with hedge fund and alternative investment clients.
• Support a portfolio of institutional client relationships alongside the Director and Head of Hedge Funds.
• Identify opportunities, support origination, and contribute to client proposals and new business execution.
• Connect clients with appropriate lending, treasury, markets, securitisation, and other banking products.
• Collaborate with product, risk, and delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions.
• Maintain compliance with risk, governance, regulatory, and Group policy requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting institutional client relationships in banking or financial services.
• Experience working with hedge funds or alternative investment clients.
• Knowledge of lending, treasury, markets, and securitisation.
• Experience supporting business development, opportunity origination, and client proposal preparation.
• Knowledge of risk, governance, and regulatory requirements in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for internal and external partnerships.

• Experience supporting credit processes and client deal execution.
