Flammability Substantiation Engineer - F/H (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; occasional worldwide business travel may be required up to three times per year.

What you will do

• Author substantiation reports for cabin retrofit modifications while meeting time, cost, and quality requirements.
• Manage, issue, and validate flammability and environmental compliance reports for ATA25 modifications.
• Plan and coordinate flammability and environmental tests for development and certification.
• Organize qualification and substantiation activities for airline cabin upgrades, connectivity upgrades, and customer support topics.
• Provide technical expertise on material and decoration choices and support technical feasibility assessments with SRS stakeholders.
• Act as a flammability substantiation reference and progressively develop specialist or CVE expertise in ATA25 flammability issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Degree in aeronautical engineering or materials engineering.
• Professional experience with material flammability.
• Knowledge of general regulatory requirements and CS25.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Adaptability, proactive problem solving, organization, communication, synthesis, and collaborative working skills.
