What you will do

• Monitor systems for potential security threats and support threat response.
• Investigate security incidents and help restore operations quickly.
• Collaborate with Engineering to maintain robust security controls.
• Partner with Vulnerability & Threat Management on security activities.
• Support Incident Response during security event investigations.
• Test defenses and identify opportunities to improve security tools.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward a STEM degree with a 12-month placement component and aiming for a 2:1 or higher, or studying for a STEM Master's degree.
• Information Security studies are preferred.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to handle new challenges.
• Passion for analytical and programming skills.
• Ability to work from the Leicestershire Head Office in an onsite role.
