Senior Application Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; on-site five days per week

What you will do

• Deliver technical support and advanced HVAC application engineering for Applied, Unitary, and BMS/Controls product lines.
• Support internal sales teams, M&E consultants, clients, and developers with complete product solutions.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to strengthen product positioning and technical differentiation.
• Build consultant and developer relationships, capture project requirements, and specify Trane solutions in tenders.
• Lead HVAC training programs, technical seminars, and product and standards education for consultants and sales teams.
• Coordinate applications-team workflows, collaborate with factory and project management teams, and coach team members.

Requirements

• Experience in HVAC systems, application engineering, and BMS/Controls.
• Ability to provide technical support and communicate complex engineering requirements to sales teams, consultants, clients, and developers.
• Knowledge of local and international technical standards, including ASHRAE and TCVN.
• Capability to lead technical training, manage project specification activities, and coordinate engineering deliverables.
• Ability to coach and develop team members while managing short-term and long-term engineering goals.
