Software Engineer (Fullstack / AI-oriented)

Location: Remote; Asia / Taiwan, Taipei / Hong Kong. The work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the business team's work.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the KYC system across backend services and frontend features.
• Draft and implement interface documentation for KYC business modules.
• Test features and perform regression testing for KYC releases.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by the QA team.
• Help the customer support team classify and resolve customer issues to improve the system.

Requirements

• Computer-related major and a bachelor's degree; final-year students and recent graduates are welcome.
• Solid Java fundamentals and understanding of object-oriented programming, with basic knowledge of multithreading and networking.
• Exposure to Spring or Spring Boot through coursework or personal projects.
• Familiarity with MySQL and basic middleware concepts such as Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Basic frontend foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with interest in full-stack development.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English; good spoken English is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with React or Vue.
