Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week from the Japan office

What you will do

• Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, foreign exchange, support automation, KYC, and risk.
• Turn ambiguous product problems into working systems with clean user experiences and reliable backend logic.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI engineers to launch and improve products.
• Build internal tools and automation that reduce manual work and support operations at scale.
• Monitor, debug, learn from, and improve released products.

Requirements

• Strong fullstack engineering experience with real shipped products.
• Experience across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production debugging.
• Frontend experience with React, Next, Vue, or a similar modern stack.
• Strong backend fundamentals, including APIs, data models, authentication, integrations, and reliability.
• Strong product sense, the ability to simplify complex workflows, and ownership of outcomes end-to-end.
• Strong English communication is required; English is the main working language.
