Location: Hybrid (Tokyo, Japan). Must work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Develop complex workflows for onboarding, payments, rewards, travel, and KYC/risk.
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clean UX and reliable system logic.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and AI engineers to iterate and launch quickly.
• Create internal tools and automation to scale operational efficiency.
• Monitor and debug production systems to ensure long-term stability.

Requirements

• Strong fullstack engineering experience with a track record of shipping real products.
• Proficiency in modern frontend stacks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.
• Solid backend fundamentals covering APIs, data models, authentication, and integrations.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and operate effectively under ambiguity.
• Strong English communication skills (main working language).
• Based in Japan or eligible to work from the Tokyo office (Hybrid).
