Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States; onsite five days per week. High travel of 50–75% may be required during construction planning, supplier reviews, equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and production ramp-up. US domestic relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $189,080.00–$283,630.00 annually

is developing a technology-enabled advanced manufacturing campus for compact track loaders and telehandlers, incorporating automation, robotics, digital production systems, and integrated logistics.
What you will do
- Lead manufacturing engineering strategy and facility development from design and equipment commissioning through go-live, production ramp-up, and stable operations.
- Deploy smart manufacturing capabilities including robotics, industrial automation, connected equipment, digital work instructions, manufacturing execution systems, automated inspection, and data visibility.
- Redesign manufacturing processes, eliminate constraints, improve material flow, and reduce end-to-end build time while maintaining safety, quality, and process control.
- Direct equipment design reviews, supplier technical reviews, installation planning, equipment acceptance, process qualification, startup issue resolution, and complex engineering projects.
- Develop manufacturing-readiness plans covering facility requirements, equipment procurement, commissioning, process validation, workforce readiness, and production launch.
- Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing engineering organization and collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, facilities, safety, finance, IT, suppliers, and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, plant engineering, advanced manufacturing, or a related technical function.
- Experience developing and implementing manufacturing processes, production systems, equipment, machinery, tooling, and automation.
- Experience leading technical teams through significant growth or organizational change.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing startups, major expansions, or large-scale transformations from facility design through production launch, ramp-up, stabilization, and ongoing operations.
- Knowledge of robotics, industrial automation, manufacturing execution systems, machine connectivity, smart factory platforms, equipment data, and digital work instructions.
