TL;DR
Security Technical Program Manager (Risk & Compliance), Level 5 (Cybersecurity): Building measurable and scalable cyber risk and compliance programs for systems, products, and infrastructure with an accent on control engineering, monitoring, and regulatory frameworks. Focus on evaluating security changes, leading remediation of control deficiencies, and aligning NIS2, CCPA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and ISO 42001 requirements with business priorities.

Location: United States; Bellevue, Los Angeles, or Palo Alto. Expected to work in an office 4+ days per week.

Base salary: $162,000–$241,000 annually in Zone C, $181,000–$270,000 annually in Zone B, or $190,000–$284,000 annually in Zone A, plus RSU eligibility.

What you will do

  • Translate cyber risk and compliance objectives into control requirements and acceptance criteria for systems and internally built platforms.
  • Establish control expectations for systems handling sensitive data, critical business processes, or material operational risk.
  • Evaluate infrastructure, system, agent framework, product, entity, and integration changes for security and compliance impact.
  • Build second-line monitoring and evidence readiness for common security controls.
  • Lead remediation of control deficiencies with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Drive complex security programs from ambiguity to measurable outcomes while balancing risk mitigation with operational load.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in security advisory, technical program management, or security solution delivery.
  • Deep information security experience and familiarity with broad security concepts and principles.
  • Proven experience running critical security programs and delivering large security projects with engineers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including adapting messages to different audiences.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NIST CSF 2.0, NIS2, or ISO 27001.
  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or a similar certification.
