Director of Social Media, X (X/Threads): Owning real-time publishing, community engagement, and platform growth for MrBeast’s X and Threads presence with an accent on short-form copy, video packaging, and cross-functional launch coordination. Focus on building high-performing rollouts, responding to live moments, growing creator and community distribution, and using analytics to drive continuous testing and reporting.
Location: Preferred in Greenville, NC; remote applicants in the United States are considered if they can travel frequently. Relocation assistance may be available.

What you will do
- Own the X publishing calendar, including daily posts and rollouts for video premieres, product launches, and announcements.
- Select high-potential video clips, brief editors on cutdowns and captions, and adapt content for Threads.
- Manage real-time replies, community interaction, trend participation, and live coverage.
- Develop branded and partner content, while coordinating with video, editorial, talent, brand, communications, and other social teams.
- Monitor brand conversation and sentiment, amplify positive momentum, and flag issues requiring attention.
- Track performance, run tests, and translate platform data into recurring reports and publishing decisions.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of social media experience with X or Twitter as the primary platform.
- At least 2 years as the named owner of a large account with 1M+ followers.
- Experience in a real-time environment such as sports, media, streaming, gaming, esports, entertainment, creator, or consumer brands known for X performance.
- Exceptional short-form copywriting skills with examples of posts that achieved significant reach.
- Experience running live coverage under pressure and working through fast approval cycles.
- Ability to edit short-form video or brief editors precisely, understand platform distribution, collaborate with stakeholders, and use analytics for decision-making.
