Social Media Manager (AI)

Location: Remote from Portugal, Brazil, or Spain; supporting a team during 9 AM–5 PM EST. Employees based in or near the Lisbon and New York hubs may have hybrid office expectations, while this role is fully remote.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day creative execution for organic social programs across multiple client accounts.
• Build social media calendars and plans with Creative Strategy leadership.
• Brief and direct designers and editors on statics, motion, video, carousels, and Stories, providing feedback on hooks, pacing, and edit structure.
• Lead community management, write platform-specific copy, and collaborate with the creator team on UGC briefs.
• Translate hook retention, watch time, CTR, engagement, saves, and follower growth into creative and content direction.
• Manage client communication, timelines, deliverables, workflow, quality, and scope risks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building social brands with distinct voices and engaged communities.
• Demonstrated experience owning social accounts and running community management.
• Strong understanding of social media metrics, culture, algorithms, and platform changes across Meta, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Experience briefing creative teams and executing inventive social content rather than working only at the strategy level.
• Experience using Sprout Social or a similar social management platform.
• Comfort presenting work to clients and working during 9 AM–5 PM EST hours.

• Experience in product, beauty, fashion, SaaS, technology, or hospitality.
• Thoughtful use of AI tools in social media workflows.
