hirify.global Aerosystems Kinston manufactures advanced composite aerostructures and critical components for the hirify.global A350 XWB, including the composite center fuselage and wing spar.

What you will do

  • Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts, mechanisms, tools, and assemblies.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining sequences, tooling, feeds, speeds, and required materials.
  • Perform machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, honing, grinding, deburring, fastening, and precision assembly.
  • Monitor and verify product and process quality using measuring instruments and statistical or other control procedures.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, maintain lubrication and coolant levels, and move products through the manufacturing process.
  • Train and assist employees at the same or lower classification level and become MVP qualified.

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience is typically required.
  • WorkKeys Assessment completion or a high school diploma/GED.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift.
  • Ability to read computer screens, documents, reports, engineering drawings, and safety information.
  • Ability to carry and lift tools, drawings, documents, and electronic equipment up to 30 lb/14 kg.
  • Applicants must have current United States work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.
