Lead Creative Technologist (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain — hybrid, with regular in-person work in the AI Innovation Lab and at client locations.

What you will do

• Frame ambiguous enterprise challenges with sponsors and users, defining decisions, outcomes, behaviors, and learning goals.
• Design and facilitate executive workshops, co-creation sessions, and hands-on making activities for multidisciplinary groups.
• Create sketches, scenarios, conversation flows, simulations, low-code prototypes, and working software to make ideas tangible early.
• Design human-agent collaboration patterns covering autonomy, approvals, escalation, uncertainty, exceptions, rollback, and human override.
• Evaluate desirability, business value, data readiness, integration, security, operational impact, cost, and maintainability before pilot recommendations.
• Translate prototype evidence into requirements, success measures, delivery paths, reusable methods, components, and evaluation assets.

Requirements

• Strategic experience with human-centered design, design thinking, systems thinking, service design, or experience strategy.
• Experience using artifacts and experiments to reduce ambiguity, test assumptions, and support decisions.
• Ability to facilitate executive workshops and participatory co-creation sessions across disciplines.
• Understanding of generative and agentic AI, including uncertainty, trust, feedback, human control, safety, permissions, and auditability.
• Experience with enterprise clients or complex stakeholder, governance, and delivery environments, plus a portfolio demonstrating tangible outcomes and learning.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience; typically five or more years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Rapid functional prototyping with low-code platforms, AI-assisted development, APIs, data integration, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Figma, FigJam, Miro, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, SharePoint, Dataverse, or Azure AI Search.
• Front-end or scripting capability, evaluation methods, observability, content safety, accessibility checks, and cost monitoring.
• Another European language or advanced study in design, HCI, technology, business, or AI.
