US Digital Transformation Lead for Launches and Acquisitions

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite required. US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $161,250–$232,916.66 per year

What you will do

• Frame non-standard digital needs for US product launches, M&A integrations, and in-market brands.
• Evaluate experience, data, and technical scenarios with product, engineering, architecture, and core digital functions.
• Create discovery artefacts such as clickable demos, data feasibility checks, and disposable technical spikes to validate complex scenarios.
• Shape solution concepts and decompose end-to-end needs into executable product-line workstreams with explicit dependencies.
• Articulate collective business value, capability needs, sequencing constraints, and investment rationale for senior stakeholders.
• Apply AI-assisted ways of working and collaborate with Digital Leads, product lines, Architecture, and the Digital Commercial Accelerator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in business, life sciences, information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in pharma or biotech with demonstrated strategic impact.
• Experience framing complex cross-team digital initiatives with product, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Strong technical foundation in software engineering, data, or digital products, with the ability to engage architects and product-line leads.
• Deep understanding of US pharmaceutical market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
• Experience decomposing initiatives into executable workstreams, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, and presenting complex topics to executives.

Nice to have

• Background as a technical lead, data lead, or senior engineer transitioning into a business-facing role.
• Experience with AI/ML applications, AI-assisted discovery, clickable demos, data exploration, and technical spikes.
• Experience with specialty pharmaceutical launches, M&A integrations, pharma consulting, or global product-line organizations.
• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, GxP requirements, and hirify.global digital platforms.
