TL;DR
DataOps Engineer (ETL/SQL/AWS): Supporting data warehouses, ETL processes, and the infrastructure used to develop and run them with an accent on service monitoring, performance optimization, and technical problem solving. Focus on maintaining reliable data operations, improving infrastructure performance, and collaborating with a US-based team during daily calls.
Location: Remote from Serbia; availability until 12:00 PM PST is required.

Software development company serving customers in the US and Europe with a distributed team of approximately 300 professionals.
What you will do
- Support data warehouses and ETL processes.
- Maintain the infrastructure and tools used to develop and run ETL workflows.
- Monitor infrastructure and service performance and optimize it.
- Analyze technical problems and participate in their resolution.
- Collaborate with a US-based customer team through daily calls.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing and supporting ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python or Perl, or a development language such as Java, C++, or C#, including the ability to create and edit small scripts.
- Experience with a task scheduler or orchestrator such as Rundeck, Airflow, or SQL Activity Monitor.
- Strong spoken English at Intermediate level or higher.
- Availability to work remotely from Serbia and be available until 12:00 PM PST.
Nice to have
- Experience with Big Data, Databricks, Spark, or Hadoop.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Experience with MFT tools such as GoAnywhere.
