Polish Subject Matter Expert – AI Audio Transcription (AI)

Location: Fully remote; hours vary based on project demands, team needs, and project volume.

What you will do

• Lead and support Polish-specific labelers and reviewers throughout the audio transcription project.
• Provide linguistic guidance on transcription, labeling, grammar, pronunciation, regional variation, and spoken Polish usage.
• Audit labeling and reviewing work, monitor team performance, and provide actionable feedback.
• Host Office Hours, manage project questions through Discord, and communicate updates and quality expectations.
• Identify ambiguities or gaps in project guidelines and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Project Operators and Project Managers on quality, workflow, and performance concerns.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Polish, including strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, regional variation, and natural spoken usage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic, transcription, and labeling errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
• Familiarity with Discord or similar online collaboration platforms.
• Experience with audio transcription, data labeling, linguistic annotation, quality assurance, AI/ML data projects, feedback, coaching, or team leadership is preferred.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or language education.
• Experience with AI training-data pipelines or annotation platforms.
• Familiarity with regional Polish speech patterns and dialectal variation.
• Quality assurance or team leadership experience in a remote or distributed setting.
