Czech Language Transcription Expert

Location: Any; fully remote

Payment: $50.00 per audio hour; potential earnings of $100 per week for a minimum of 10 hours of work.

What you will do

• Listen to real audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts.
• Capture filler words, repetitions, stutters, trailing sentences, and informal speech.
• Create timestamps with less than 500 ms deviation.
• Label speakers in conversations involving 2 to 8 participants.
• Annotate non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, and unintelligible audio.

Requirements

• Native-level Czech fluency, including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech.
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions with stutters, repetitions, and filler words.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a laptop or desktop computer; mobile devices are not supported.
• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is advantageous; browser-based tool training is provided.
