Hindi Language Transcription Expert

Location: Any; remote

Salary: $20 per audio hour. Potential earnings are $40 per week when working the minimum 10 hours per week.

What you will do

• Listen to real Hindi audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts.
• Capture filler words, repetitions, stutters, trailing sentences, regional accents, and informal speech.
• Timestamp transcript segments with less than 500 ms deviation.
• Label speakers in conversations with 2 to 8 participants.
• Annotate non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, and unintelligible audio.

Requirements

• Native-level Hindi fluency, including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech.
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions, including stutters, repetitions, and filler words.
• Comfort using browser-based tools; training is provided.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a laptop or desktop computer; mobile devices are not supported.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.

• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics.
