IT Lead (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California — on-site, Monday-Friday

Base pay: $280,000–$360,000 USD per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building personal AI systems, including AI model training infrastructure, open-weight model post-training, personal hardware, and next-generation interfaces.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable IT infrastructure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, networks, WAN, LAN, wireless access points, on-premises systems, hardware, and disaster recovery.
• Implement security policies, compliance frameworks, incident response protocols, IAM, audits, and risk remediation.
• Build IT onboarding, service delivery, support operations, and enterprise application management.
• Manage vendors, procurement, contracts, budgets, forecasts, and technology investment cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience at high-growth companies.
• Hands-on expertise with IT and HR systems, MDM, networking, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience with compliance, cybersecurity, IT audits, risk assessments, and incident response.
• Experience building and scaling IT functions, managing vendors, budgets, and procurement.
• Strong technical, communication, leadership, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, California, Monday-Friday.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, machine learning, scientific computing, or specialized technical workloads.
• Background in hardware infrastructure or data center operations.
• Knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
• Startup or venture-backed scale-up experience.
