Founding Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Toronto, Canada. The role starts remotely for the first few months, followed by work from the Toronto office five days a week. The first month is spent working in person in New York, with travel and accommodation covered.

Salary: CAD $155,000–$230,000, plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered commercial engine that helps pharmaceutical marketers launch compliant, reference-backed campaigns faster.

What you will do

• Build and harden FastAPI backend services for ingestion, retrieval, annotation, and compliance checks.
• Design reliable Celery and Redis background job infrastructure with scheduling, retries, idempotency, and backoff.
• Package and deploy LLM and RAG agents built with tools such as LangGraph and LangChain.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including secrets, networking, autoscaling, and cost controls.
• Build enterprise integrations with Veeva Promomats, Adobe, and Figma.
• Develop file-processing, OCR, embedding, metadata, database, vector-search, and frontend integrations.

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying enterprise-grade products.
• Strong full-stack web development skills with Python, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS.
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini, including LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, or agentic solutions.
• Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and drive results.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada; work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Celery, Redis, Postgres, Pinecone, Next.js, or enterprise content platforms.
