What you will do

• Architect and build Terraform and Ansible/AAP pipelines across Azure, AWS, and OCI with version-pinned, gated promotion across environments.
• Design GitOps delivery using ArgoCD or OpenShift GitOps and establish reusable infrastructure-as-code standards.
• Build security, policy-as-code, static-analysis, software-composition, secret-scanning, SBOM, and artifact-signing capabilities.
• Audit live infrastructure-as-code estates, quantify governance gaps, and lead remediation of shadow repositories and insecure automation patterns.
• Integrate SIEM audit trails and map pipeline controls to change-management, compliance, and release requirements.
• Hire, lead, mentor, and develop cloud and platform engineers while serving as the technical authority for cloud automation architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering experience and 5+ years managing engineers delivering cloud infrastructure automation.
• Expert-level Terraform and Ansible/AAP experience, including modules, state management, roles, execution environments, RBAC, and credential management.
• Hands-on GitOps experience with ArgoCD or an equivalent Kubernetes/OpenShift tool, plus deep CI/CD pipeline engineering experience.
• Experience with OPA or equivalent policy engines, infrastructure and configuration scanning, Ansible testing, CVE analysis, artifact management, SBOMs, and signed artifacts.
• Experience with multi-cloud operations, secrets-management platforms, SIEM integration, regulated environments, SDLC governance, segregation of duties, and formal change management.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern SIEM and observability stacks.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift GitOps or enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience building a greenfield automation platform.
• Experience leading IT control audits or SOX-adjacent evidence packages.
