Senior Electronics Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Review PCB CAM and Gerber files for manufacturability and quality.
• Perform IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 inspections of PCB assemblies and wire harnesses.
• Analyze SMT and AOI defects, including false calls and root causes.
• Evaluate counterfeit electronic components according to AS6081 standards.
• Conduct semiconductor package inspections using C-SAM and X-ray imaging, and support MIL-STD-883 compliance checks.
• Prepare technical reports, communicate findings, and collaborate on workflow and training-dataset improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electronics quality, CAM engineering, or failure analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Experience with Gerber data, PCB CAM software, SMT processes, AOI inspection, and defect analysis.
• Experience screening counterfeit components under AS6081.
• Hands-on experience with C-SAM, X-ray inspection, and MIL-STD-883 procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and technical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• IPC CIS or CIT certification.
