Finance Professional (Quantum Computing) (Finance/Quantum Computing): Supporting finance improvement, growth, compliance, grants, contracts, and strategic projects at a quantum processor company with an accent on financial analysis, process automation, and cross-functional execution. What you will do
- Support finance improvement projects covering processes, controls, reporting, and systems.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve Finance operations, including through AI and new technology.
- Prepare analyses, reporting, and decision-ready materials for Finance leadership.
- Identify grants and funding opportunities, coordinate applications, and manage grant administration and reporting.
- Support contract workflows, compliance, tax, legal, and finance requirements for new markets and partnerships.
- Support export controls, sanctions assessments, and regulatory requirements for international activities.
Requirements
- Strong academic background and genuine interest in Finance, business, and company operations.
- Analytical, structured, intellectually curious, and comfortable working across varied projects.
- Proactive approach with ownership from analysis through execution.
- Ability to collaborate with Finance leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
Nice to have
- Finance experience in a high-growth technology company.
- Experience in deeptech, such as semiconductors, photonics, quantum technologies, advanced materials, robotics, or AI infrastructure.
- Experience with capital-expenditure-heavy or manufacturing companies and COGS.
- Experience with ERP systems, finance transformation, or ERP implementation projects.
- Experience with business intelligence tools.
