Asset and Configuration Analyst II

Location: Onsite at the Brentwood, MO Depot and O'Fallon, MO Data Center, with travel between locations as needed. This is not a remote or desktop support position.

Pay range: $27.02–$48.55 per hour

What you will do

• Track IT hardware, software licenses, configuration items, dependencies, attributes, versions, and baselines throughout their life cycles.
• Maintain accurate asset records and CMDB data in ServiceNow and other asset-management tools.
• Manage physical inventory, RFID tracking, chain-of-custody documentation, data center readiness, and audit verification.
• Verify hardware against physical inventory and software against licensing contracts, initiating corrective actions and reclamation when needed.
• Provide scheduled and ad-hoc KPI reporting and improve hardware and software asset-management processes.
• Create and monitor requisitions through purchase-order approval and validate incoming orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, plus 2–4 years of related experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ServiceNow, software licensing agreements, and IT service-management processes.
• Experience with CMDBs and the business services they support.
• Experience with data center operations, ServiceNow data accuracy, RFID inventory management, chain-of-custody documentation, and audit support.
• Must work onsite at the Brentwood depot and O'Fallon data center and travel between locations as needed.
• Must operate material-handling equipment, obtain company-sponsored equipment-operation certification, and comply with safety requirements.

Nice to have

• IAITAM CITAM, CHAMP, or CITAD certification.
