GPU & AI Accelerator Hardware Design Undergraduate Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Support GPU and AI accelerator board and power design from concept through bring-up and validation.
• Assist with PCB schematic design, layout, component selection, and bill of materials development.
• Use simulation and engineering tools such as Cadence, Sigrity, SIMetrix, Mathcad, MATLAB, and PowerDC.
• Participate in board characterization, electrical measurements, hardware debugging, soldering, and rework.
• Develop test methods and automate measurements and data collection with Python or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with board, layout, thermal-mechanical, validation, firmware, and software engineering teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechatronics engineering, or a related science or engineering field.
• At least 3 months of educational or work experience with hardware design principles and PCB layout techniques.
• Experience with board bring-up, debugging tools, and electrical measurements.
• Experience with Cadence, Altium, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of AI acceleration hardware and computing architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with discrete graphics add-in cards or mobile discrete graphics systems.
• Knowledge of PC x86 architecture, CPU processors, multimedia, memory, PCIe, display technologies, power management, and 3D graphics.
• Experience building personal computers and computer hardware.
• Programming skills in Python or similar languages.
