Hardware Engineer - New Grad (Networking)

What you will do

• Design and develop complex printed circuit boards for networking and telecommunications products.
• Develop digital circuit designs using processors, FPGAs, memories, high-speed interfaces, and supporting circuitry.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, prototype validation, and hardware bring-up.
• Debug digital interfaces, communication protocols, and hardware issues during development, manufacturing, and system integration.
• Analyze signal integrity, timing, power integrity, and hardware failures to identify root causes.
• Execute laboratory characterization, performance testing, design verification, documentation, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Strong understanding of digital logic design and circuit analysis fundamentals.
• Familiarity with microprocessors, FPGAs, CPLDs, memories, and digital interfaces.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, MDIO, Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, and JTAG protocols.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment and hardware debugging techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with initiative and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Co-op or internship experience in hardware development.
• Experience with Cadence schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital design and signal integrity considerations.
• Experience with Python, TCL, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
